It takes character to be a leader and not give in to the interest in order to just remain in power. Since reconstruction we have not had a group so willing to take up issues that despite their political outcome the right approach would be taken.

No bill can perfect, because man is not perfect. Our legislators and Governor need your support because members of the legislature, AEA and the lobbying interest are attacking the legislators who took a principled stance to provide a choice for the parents and children of our state. The parents of our state now have more choice regarding their children’s education and that is a very important.

A top down government approach is never the answer. We are grateful and indebted to the teachers of our state for their investment in our children, but we are not indebted to those who want to control the monies of our education system in order to maintain their power. Remember, principles over power.

Please call your legislators and the Governor and thank them for their action.
